These games look to be relatively informal, but if you are the soccer early bird, you can catch the proverbial worm this Saturday. Two Chattanooga FC teams, Blue and White, will mix it up against teams from Covenant College and the Cleveland Soccer Club (who is this?)… We are guessing that we will most likely not have the full new teams for CFC out in force, but instead whichever locals might be able to make it.
Anyway, if you care to see some of the action at Finley Stadium this Saturday March 27, you can pop in – it is free and open to the public. Here’s the rough schedule, complete with the Coach’s quirky times:
8:15 Chattanooga FC White vs Chattanooga FC Blue
9:15 Covenant College vs Cleveland Soccer Club
10:15 Chattanooga FC White vs Covenant College
11:15 Chattanooga FC Blue vs Cleveland Soccer Club
12:15 Chattanooga FC White vs Cleveland Soccer Club
1:15 Chattanooga FC Blue vs Covenant College
11 v 11 match with substitutes on your own throw ins, any goal kick, or kickoff
Each half is 27 minutes with a 2 minute halftime
I was really impressed by the quality of play out there today! The offense for both CFC teams was excellent and exciting. I can't wait to get this rolling!
